Baby Smilodon and motherly spider

Sorry for my long absence.  Yehhh! My first new picture of the new year. A mother Smilodon left her newborn cub inside a warm hollow log. The little cub amuses himself watching a mother black widow spider tend to her brood inside their egg sac.
