A cuddly scene of an Australopithecus toddler and his two smilidon buddies. Their bellies are full from eating dodos and they're trying to get to sleep during a cold night. The two cubs are jostling for the the most comfy parts of the bed.
This picture was inspired by our cold winter here in the southern US.
Australopithecus, Smilodon and dodos did not live together, though Australopithecus and dinofelis, another kind of sabre tooth did. bad thing dinofelis would like a toddler for dinner!
Aw, that's so sweet and comfy. I can almost feel the warmth radiating from the fire. We had -31C a couple of days ago and on top of that the heater broke so my apartment's been freezing cold for days, brrr. Since I don't have any Smilodon cubs at hand, I guess I'll have to make do with my domestic felines instead.
